African Sonic Research is a multimodal project aiming to explore the relationship between sound, identity and experimentation throughout the African diaspora. The project currently holds a residency on Oroko Radio, an internet radio station broadcasting from Accra, Ghana.

Through the bi-monthly broadcast, African Sonic Research highlights meditative, improvisatory sounds from artists through the African Diaspora. Selections include ambient compositions, field recordings, jazz, electronic works and more.
