African Sonic Research is multidisciplinary project which explores the intersection of sound, ritual and experimentation through the African diaspora. Drawing on a breadth of Black sonic traditions, this project aims to create and space for both listening and reflection.

The project currently holds a residency on the Accra-based Oroko Radio, offering bi-monthly broadcasts. Meditative soundscapes, ancestral memory, and foward-thinking experimentation frame the project’s approach to sound.
